You're a jerk. First of all, I didn't say what school. There's no guarantee I listed everything on there. Second of all, I was not refering to my numbers which I'm well aware are medium. I was refering to the fact that I've already been accepted at Cornell, so I'm not really saddened by rejections from schools that aren't as good a personal fit for me. Finally, people like you give law school students a bad name. Check yo'self.

whoah easy there, no need to resort to petty name calling. if i misunderstood the intent of this thread my bad - and if that is the case, titling the thread "schools that are beneath you" is a pretty bad choice of words. either way, sorry for any confusion, and try not to blow up over something pretty innocuous, esp. on an internet board, of all places!

anyways, i'll add to the commiseration. my GULC acceptance has made my penn w/l more bearable. peace out y'all.

If you can't have a little fun with your rejections, what can you laugh about?

I think sometimes that laughing at this process keeps us sane.

While no school is unlikely to reject me, I will still make fun of the ones that do.  ;D

I got waitlisted at W&M, but rejected from Ole Miss. Shouldn't it be the other way around? (Not that I am complaining)

Didn't mind so much getting waitlisted by Cardozo when I got into Fordham.  And then, when the latest USNWR rankings came out with Fordham TIED with BC, it took A LOT of the sting out, since the BC rejection LETTER, if not the rejection itself, is beneath us all...

Kyrgyzstan kind of pissed me off, but when the Irkutsk acceptance came, I was OK with it. F'ing walnut-lovers...

True true... I got into Cornell and then rejected by Notre Dame. It just didn't seem to matter as much as it might have before I got my Cornell acceptance.

And by "beneath", I think we are just saying "lower ranked". I wouldn't say that I am "too good" for ND by any stretch of the imagination.
Going to Cornell unless I get off Michigan's waitlist.

I got into GW and was rejected from American.  Thank goodness I got into GW the evening before I got my rejection letter.  I would have been a mess b/c American was my target school that I figured I would surely get in.
