Many moving companies hire day laborers and/ or consistently hire then lay off the same people week after week. You may not want them handling your stuff.
PODs is a good choice, but may be a little expensive.
ABF Freight Systems (
http://www.abf.com) UPack is a decent option. They drop an LTL trailer off at your house. You pack. They ship it to you.
