Visiting Depaul & Kent, Where to Stay?

Will be informally visiting Depaul and Kent on the weekend of April 9th, can anyone suggest a decent place to stay in fairly close proximity to both?

I visited in November and stayed at a hostel:   http://www.hichicago.org/whatsnew.htm

It was a block or two blocks from DePaul, and walking distance to Kent.  I did have to share a room with several other people, but they provide lockers.  Just be sure to bring a lock.  It was friendly and safe, and best of all it was cheap.  It's around thirty dollars a night.  All the hotels I looked at in the area were over 100 a night.

Rancho Carne--what did you think?  Who are you leaning towards, and, most importantly, who had the better library???

I might also suggest the many hostels in dowtown Chicago, if you're looking for something cheap.  Also, any of the hotels downtown will be pricey, you could look for some a little farther away and then take the el into thew city, both schools are within walking distance from the el, DePaul is right next door to a stop.

DePaul is located in an office building.  I don't know exactly, but they are something like floors 9 through 15 of the building.  It was really strange.  Kent definately had a very nice building.  Kent had a big library with a beautiful reading room (very high ceilings and stained glass windows?)  I don't remember seing a library at DePaul.  It's good that you're able to visit and see for yourself.

Actually, the office building is DePaul's masters programs; with other masters programs occupying the first 9 floors and the law school floors 9-15 spread over two buildings.
