UT manipulating its numbers?

I just emailed UT saying that I would be declining their acceptance for the fall. They emailed me back saying "Thank you for withdrawing your application" That's not what I said. If they say I w/drew my app does that help their yield numbers in some way for rankings?

Oh, sweetheart, you don't need law school. Law school is for people who are boring and ugly and serious. And you, button, are none of those things.

The numbers are
# of students applied: You applied, you'll be counted in that group.
# of students accepted: You were accepted, you'll be counted in that group.
# of students matriculated: you won't be counted here.

Ellie. I think you're totally onto something. My sense it that they will use your "withdrawal" in their rejection rate. I'd like to talk about this more. Would you mind emailing me offline?
