post your 1st round NCAA upset

I know some of us are in pools with each other, so I don't want to reveal too much before the tourney starts, but I really think that PEnn is going to beat BC in the opening round.

post your own upsets (please no 8-9 games, 7-10 games are barely acceptable)

New Mexico (12) over Villanova (5) in the Syracuse Region.

NM just beat Utah to win the Mountain West Conference Tourney.

They are hot!

Pnn is sooo not beating BC; however pacifa is going at least to the sweet 16

I'm assuming "Pacifa" is UOP (ie Pacific).  If so, I think they will beat Pitt in the 1st round but I don't think they will beat Washington in the 2nd round.  I would like to see it but I don't think so.

I had a friend who played Football at UOP and right before his senior year they cancelled the program.  He transferred to ASU for his senior year and that was the year they lost in the Rose Bowl.  The QB was Jake Plummer.

As a Northern Iowa alum, I can confidently call this Round 1 upset:

Northern Iowa: 62
Wisconsin: 61

eh, Wisconsin may suck it against Northern Iowa, but that will just mean the spread would end up being 10 points instead of 20.  sorry to burst any (dream) bubbles.

as far as real upsets go:

UW Milwaukee over Alabama
Iowa over Cinci

I don't know about many of the other lower seed teams, so I can't really say any others, but these I feel pretty confident in.
