Anyone STILL waiting for American?

Yeah, it's getting a little ridiculous with American.  I applied in early November, and have heard nothing.  I called the other day, and the person on the phone said "Don't worry, you should hear by mid-May"!!!! It's insane to have to wait soooo long.

I just heard from American today and it was good news!  So maybe they are getting them all out now~!!  Good luck to you all

And benin, on the phone they said by mid-May? Thats ridiculous- so many schools want deposits by April 1. How can they do that??

I think lanen is near their 75%.

Anything past April 1st is unreasonable in my opinion. They know that other schools are requesting seat deposits.

I'm not at their 75%..i think i'm probabaly right at their middle 50%..and I heard afew weeks ago.  I think they've been getting out their letters in the past couple of weeks and should have a lot more before april 1st.

I got an acceptance tofday, post marked march 12th.  I applied mid Jan, don't know when i was complete.  HTH

I also got a big packet from AU today. First acceptance (following a deferral from Minnesota and rejection from Duke).
