Yeah, I'm jealous of others who got in.  Thought I had a fairly good chance...at least to be waitlisted, but no go.

I think I'm going to go to Pitt now, and come out with about 1/2 of the debt I would have if GW was in my future. 

Things have a way of working themselves out.

I am not saying GW is not a good school, but it is clearly not what people on this board seem to think it is. GW is a good school, but considering most people here are pursuing big firm work, it is ironic that people on this board seem to push GW as if it were a T14. Do some research on the topic or here is a study from someone who did a similiar study to my own. GWU is good, but not as good as it seems to be pushed by people on this board.

For the record, using the phrase "F them" is really not your best choice.

Either spell out both words for forcefulness or shorten both to "F-em" for the cadence.

Think what you will based on these dumb studies you all so worship.  GW Law's avg. salary is 125K.  That is fine by me.  It is a top 20 school and is a fantastic place to be.  Where will you be attending?

The people that knock GW are usually the ones that didn't get in Thurston.  Nuff said......

Wow, I didn't realize that this thread would begin a debate on the merits of GW.

I am very disappointed that I wasn't admitted to GWU.  It is a great school in a great part of the country.  But, I'll hopefully graduate with a higher rank from Pitt, and have the same/better prospects after graduation.

As I said before, everything happens for a reason!

Hey laurie ann.  I went to PSU for a year and graduated from Pitt undergrad.  I have 2 friends in law school there.  They both seem to like it.  They are engineers, though, and going for IP I believe. 

Are you in the burgh now?  If so, where at?
