Wow...for the first time in my life i realized that I typed the word "ya'll". Does that make it obvious that i'm from Texas or do other people actually say that too. :-\

I received the same email. I was really excited believing that it was one of those indications of future acceptance (like in undergrad when you would get housing information before your acceptance). But now I guess it was just a email geared towards ensuring applicants continued interest. Did anyone apply last year? I have been going through some of the posts from last year and it seems that Howard has made an effort to improve their admissions process. This is the second email I have received from them. One was a monthly status email on where my application was in the process and what materials had yet to be submitted and this email makes the second. It might not seem like a change but when your read posts from last year it contrasts heavily with last cycle's posts in which people complained about lost applications and no status updates whatsoever.

i got the same email.  I wasn't sure if it was an acceptance letter or not so I forwarded to my parents.  My dad thought it sounded like an acceptance letter but told me to call them tommorrow and ask to speak with someone and tell them i am very interested in attending... i am glad im not the only one confused!!!

the letter is not an acceptance, but it may mean that we were accepted. the problem is might be a general note, but they only sent it to people that applied. Why would they do that?

I'm pretty sure it's just a general letter. I received the same e-mail, and my application isn't even complete- The December LSAT scores haven't been released yet.

We all would like to know the answer to that question. When do they usually start accepting? Also, is Howard one of ya'll's top choices? If you got into a higher ranked school would you go or are there specific reasons that you want to go to Howard??
