I only got $3K a year, and my income was a mere $12K last year.  Are you guys living in cardboard boxes, or did I apply for $$$ too late (I barely made the 2/15 deadline)?  I was really disappointed, but it's still my top choice thus far.

I don't think the awards that just went out have anything to do with financial need.  Mine was a merit award.  The grants (if any) will come later.

I just contacted them, and you're right; there are no need-based awards.  My GPA was higher than yours, but your LSAT was higher than mine, so I guess awards are based on test scores.

it's relative. It's not like GPA has nothing to do with it.

Do you mean no need based awards at all?  Or that they just haven't given them yet?

There's a big difference there

I'm fairly certain there are no need based grants given out by W&L.  Only merit based.  The school may have private loans that they give out though, I'm not sure about that.
