Don't think I would have actually gone there since I went to HS 20 min. away but it still sucks. It was in my top 4-5 and I want to have some choices in my top 4-5. I got into one (Wake) and now I am out at UGA. Not surprised with my numbers but it still sucks. Too bad I am not in state anymore. But oh well. Checked the online status checker and that is how I found out. Just kind of an (expected) bummer.  :(

I know. Weird b/c I got so used to checking it CONSTANTLY  ;) and it saying the same thing. Then I go today and I had to do a double take. DAMN! Well I guess it is a good thing since I most likely (90% chance) was not going to go there and I would not want to take the acceptance of someone who really wants to go. Guess I just feel a little rejected by my "home" school. No love. [sigh]

It sounds like you're dealing with this very well...

If you don't mind, what was your online status before you found out the final decision? I think the rest of us might get a better idea of what to expect next. THANK YOU!

Nolegirl, my GPA is very similiar to your and my LSAT is over 10 points lower than yours.  My application was complete at UGA since last year, but I still haven't heard anything yet.  Status check just said complete/in review or something like that.  I guess I should expect a "ding" as well then.

Yeah it said, for like a month or 3 weeks, " Your application is in review. This usually takes several weeks." Then it said today " We're sorry. Your application for admission has been denied." Boo on them  :P Anyway, you never know. My app is kinda unusual so just because I did not get in does not mean anyting. Especially if you are in state.

I am about to check online too.  With your # I dont stand a chance, as if I did in any way shape or form.  Here I go, off to check my status online, I feel a tear coming on.

Don't get your hopes up. I am a auto-reject, at least numbers wise and online it still stays in committee.
