I just got dinged by Albany through an EMAIL! They went on to say that they would offer me admission if I participated in 2 month program online for $250. WTF.

that's not bad; i would think about taking that.  i think most people would do something like that if it meant getting an acceptance in the end.  don't know how albany ranks on your list, though.

Also, when were you complete blake...I recieved no email so Im worried my rejection could be in the mail.

I never received a complete notification.  I sent the app around 12/30, my lsac report went out around 1/4ish...

What? They want you to pay $250 for online program. Did they indicate what you will be learning online for 2 months? Seems weird...maybe Albany just wants more money from its applicants. If it guarantees admission upon completion of program...I would consider but if it does not...forget it!

The emails were sent out today. I sent my app in sometime in early November.

It seems like the AAMPLE program is a conditional admittance for admission in the fall. It is for candidates whose "LSAT scores are not competitive with the applicant pool", but they found something in our applications that proved that we would succeed in law school. Basically it is a chance to prove ourselves to them. The 2 online courses are Criminal Procedure and Negotiable Instruments. The course costs a little over 3k, but they have given scholarships to some. My scholarship is 2k. Good luck. Hopefully they send out another wave of acceptances or AAMPLE acceptances.

I got the AAMPLE notification as well, however I am only getting $1000 off so it will still cost over 2 grand plus the cost of books.  There is no way I can afford to pay that by April.  Is anyone considering doing the program?
