Well, okay... In the OP's defense, I suppose that's what a professional polster might do.  But then, if you split it up as you suggested, almost eighty percent would be in your first two categories (21-25/26-30).  That kind of information wouldn't be too helpful, would it?

No, I think the OP posted a fun poll.  I mean, this isn't exactly scientific in the first place -- and people on LSD are probably not representative of a random sampling of people going to law school.

Last I counted, the median age was 25.  That's pretty interesting.  And almost eighty percent are under the age of thirty.  Interesting.  But the median age at Pitt's law school, where I'm going, is said to be about 25, as well.

I have kind of a hard time relating to older students.  I mean, I didn't see a lot of older students at Michigan (where I went to undergrad), but the few I did see really kept to themselves.  Perhaps it'll be different in law school.  I hope so.  I think it's a good thing when you have some people with a little more life experience in class.

I'll be 23.   I took a year off after graduating from college, which IMO, was the best thing I ever did.  Now I'm ready to go back to school.

If I start when I first planned to start, I'll be 20.  However, I've been thinking of getting my Master's, so I might not start until I'm 22 years old.

I'll be 20 until March '06... I've been thinking about doing a dual degree, but I definitely wouldn't do a masters before law school.

21 after graduating college in three years.  Thank you IB credit.

I think a better poll would have been asking if you were straight out of undergrad, straight out of another advanced degree, worked for 1-2 years, worked for 3-5 years, 5-10 years, 10+ years, took a year off to travel or be a bum or etc., or coming to law school from community service, PeaceCorps, military, that sort of thing.

I don't think it's the age neccessarily that is going to dictate what "group" you fall into in law school, it has to do more with you experiences.
