I joined the club, first two super thin envelopes arrived today. I was 6-0-1 before this, now i'm 6-2-1, GULC & BC have rejected me.

Not too big of a surprise but disappointing nonetheless. Numbers, 3.02 , 170.

Frankly, I'm very surprised I haven't heard yet. I live in DC and my numbers are very close to y'all's...Slightly worse in some cases, slightly better in others...I still have eight friggin' schools to hear from and that adage Tousled Pigtails posted about no acceptances in March has def. got me nonplussed...if there's anything in it...Anyways, sorry to hear y'all's bad news...I may need a little commiseration in not too long myself...

What is this tousled pigtails posted about no acceptances in March?  I got an acceptance in March . . .

To G-Town? What day did you go to decision?

I think the philosohpy is that Feb is more of an acceptance month, and March more of a reject month. There are always exceptions.

Got my rejection letter today. Bummer. Maybe I didn't even want to move to DC but it still sucks. Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

Does anybody know when GULC guarantees sending out final notifications by?  Will it definately be before April 1?

Sorry to hear that Ambs.  You're right though.  You'd be crazy to leave the Bay Area for DC. It went from nearly 70 to snow in less than 24 hours.

Thanks Sakura, you're right, the bay area is one of the most fabulous places. It was beautiful here today - you have to get back here!

Unless NYU decides to send me love, I'll be staying in Cali, and totally not regreting that at all.
