Well I finally got an email over the weekend stating that I'd been put on the waitlist at UB. In some ways I'm extremely stoked. Actually, I am totally stoked! The only drawback is this: They take people off the waitlist up until classes start. I'd love to wait until the last minute and see if I get in, but if I don't get in by June-ish, I think I'll have to withdraw my application. Basically the relocation isn't a big deal but my wife finding a job might be a kicker.... though anyone from WNY knows that schools don't do too much hiring before late July .
Anyhow, that's the news.
