I don't assume that I am better than anyone.  Would it be wrong to assume that you are better at the LSAT test than most people if you scored a 175?  Of course not.  Your assumption is based on facts.  You are 99% sure that you are better than anyone you meet.  Just like she is safe in assuming that, I am safe in assuming that I am better at other things, which are also quantifiable.  For example, I can run a race in x amount of time.  Based on that, I know that I am better than 90% of the population.  I hope you understand.

I apologize to jay and anyone else you felt my remarks were inappropriate.  Of course I am just jealous that other people get to go to schools that I can't get into because I didn't test as well.  I was venting as well, but obviously in the wrong forum and directed at someone who was not deserving.

I sent in a letter to both telling them why their school was my first choice

That bothers me immensely.  I really think that is unethical.  Ugh.

Jayhawk -

Sorry to hear about the rejections, but at least they were over with quickly - like ripping off a band-aid, it's probably better that way if it's gotta happen. And with Harvard already in your pocket, the sting will probably pass really fast.

I'm hoping that I'll be put out of my "misery" soon as well.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks they both came today. Try not to let it ruin the rest of your weekend. You have plenty to be proud about! :)

Hey JayHawk - sorry to hear about the double whammy - I'm sure it stings - but drape yourself in crimson, run around your apartment -- you're in Harvard, baby!  ;)

May I suggest drinking a lot and then passing out on the floor somewhere in the vicinity of the Harvard Binder?

Good point, I noticed it too. When someone is insulting someone elses behavior and than writes this. I feel like I would have improved my chances to say that to certain schools, but I chose not to lie. How many 1st choices can someone have.

HUG the binder.  must HUG.  unless you think you'll puke.  then you just hug a photocopy of the acceptance letter.  :)
