I don't assume that I am better than anyone. Would it be wrong to assume that you are better at the LSAT test than most people if you scored a 175? Of course not. Your assumption is based on facts. You are 99% sure that you are better than anyone you meet. Just like she is safe in assuming that, I am safe in assuming that I am better at other things, which are also quantifiable. For example, I can run a race in x amount of time. Based on that, I know that I am better than 90% of the population. I hope you understand.
