GW..I shouldn't have called...
« on: March 04, 2005, 04:44:36 PM »
I called the admissions office today around 3:30, and they said a decision was made on 3/2, and it has been mailed.  Being that GW emails acceptances, it seems as if my fate is sealed...I consider waitlist a ding.  :(
I will be a Nittany Lion turned Pitt Panther for 1L 2005.

You tempted me.  I called.  No decision on my application yet.  But she encouraged me to send additional documents through e-mail over the weekend if I had anything else to send.

I would read this as: if you took the Feb. LSAT, let them know...though an updated resume wouldn't be a bad idea.
GPA - 3.33, LSAT - 166 (164+167)

Attending GW
Accepted: Emory, Richmond, W&L, Minnesota, GW
Waitlisted: UVA (withdrawn), Vanderbilt (too lazy to withdraw)
Rejected: Georgetown, Cornell, BC, ND, NYU

Read into this what you will, but I was admitted to GW without any email.  I think the same thing happened to others too, though it does seem like most of the admits received an email.  Good luck.  Hope the letter is an acceptance for you.

Got a letter from them today, letting me know I was waitlisted. I guess they decided to look at my four year old (horrible) LSAT score -  I guess I was surprised, but I also realize it is a tough process and nothing is guaranteed. Bleh.
