Anyone heading to Case Western with me?
« on: March 04, 2005, 01:36:18 PM »
I'll be starting next fall and was wondering if anyone else has decided on Case yet?

Have many more apps. pending so can't say for sure.  Are you going to Preview Day?  I'll be there if I can get a decent flight out.

I would like to, but if they don't accept me I'll be heading south. I have a feeling they will get a bump in the rankings this year, but the lower tuition of OSU and UC are rather tempting.

What influenced you to make that decision?

I just liked the program as a whole after looking into it.  It was tied for my first choice with Pitt.  I applied to Case ED figuring if I got in, I'd be happy to go there and pull my other apps.  I also wanted to get a head start on trying to sell my house, find a place in Cleveland, etc...

Are you going to Preview Day?

I can't make it March 18 so I'll probably head to the one in June.

Congratulations on heading to Case!  I've been accepted as well, and I'm leaning toward Case, but I still have several apps pending.

I do plan to go to the Admitted Students Day on March 18 so that I can check out the school and Cleveland.

For those looking for flights, you should check out Southwest Airlines online.  They have some pretty low rates, especially if you prepurchase your ticket.

Thanks for the tip.  Unfortunately Southwest doesn't fly to CLE from where I live.

PM the hotel you're staying at if you want, I still can't decide where I should book.

Maybe I just got my LSAT score back.

LSAT -- 162

UGPA (LSAC version) -- 2.44

Non-Trad -- 41 years old

10+ years teaching elementary school.

Just now putting in my app.

chiashu says 55%

Opinions on my chances anybody. If I get accepted, there's a very good chance I will go there.
