Maryland Open House
« on: March 03, 2005, 11:01:06 PM »
I went to an open house at University of Maryland this evening.  It wasn't specifically for admitted students, but I hadn't visited yet so I went.  I really liked it. The facility is really new, under 3 years old, and really nice and realtively high-tech.  The student body seemed to be a good mix of people. Of course the students selected to speak with us had nothing but love for the school, but when pressed for dislikes, the fact that the 1L grading curve is a B- came up. However, I got a really good feeling about the school, which was really encouraging, since I had pretty much decided it was where I'm going to go.
