Also rejected by Stanford via a letter dated 2/25 and postmarked 2/28.

My numbers are 3.7/177, and I went complete on January 19.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Wow, your LSAT supports my personal theory that Stanford is a true GPA whore.
They seem to heavily prefer those with a minimum GPA of 3.9 from a nice school.
(with occasional exceptions for URMs)

With your numbers though, you should get in just about everywhere else, especially those schools who weight the LSAT heavier than GPA (which is many of them).

Congrats on your other acceptances (even though I don't know where they are, I'm sure they include many T14s).

Thanks, alphalyrae.  I figured my GPA and rather normal background would keep me out of Stanford.  I went to a good undergrad, but I never intended to go to law school, so I didn't pay any attention to my GPA.

I got into Harvard a while ago, so I'm not upset.  I was just hoping against the odds that I wouldn't have to trade in my flip-flops for snow boots  ;D

Hey Nothing -- congrats on the Harvard acceptance!  Stanford may be a bit more selective because of its small class size - but that's about it.  Granted you won't be hanging out in your flip flops looking at palm trees, but the quality of education and opportunities that await you at HLS are on par with - and may arguably exceed - those at SLS.

See below, although Swarthmore has an (increasingly undeserved) reputation for grade deflation.  I'm not a URM, but am (mildly) disabled which probably counts for something.
It's palm trees and sunshine for me!
