Does American still accept people or nowdays it's just all WL and rejections?

I have not heard anything from it and I have been completed a bit over 3 months now.

I was waitlisted at American letter dated 4/5/05.  Sigh...major long shot for me, but really wanted it.

Tony...when were you notified of your waitlist offer and then also how were you notified of your offer of admission off the list?

Does anyone know how much they used the list last year and when it moves mostly?

I can only say that I was WL'd last year and accepted around late July (which I believe is shortly after their second seat deposit deadline).  HTH.

Add me as well. This is my first choice. I use to live like 4 blocks away from the law school. It would be nice to go back... I can only hope and be happy that they didn't flat out reject me.

Just got my waitlist letter from American (that makes the WL total 5). So is it common for a school to say that if they call you to take you off the waitlist you have to make an immediate decision?  that seems pretty stressful to me, especially being on so many waitlists.  I like to have all the cards in front of me when i make a decision, but it doesn't look like thats going to happen.  What is the general reputation of American in D.C.? I'm new to the board, so i'm not sure if that question has been answered elsewhere.

My friend received an email directly from the dean of admission saying that from this point on decisions are mostly waitlists and denials.  Sorry.
