I am at the Rivercrest apt. complex just down the street from the LS.  I sure hope that works out!  Looking forward to meeting the rest of you summer starters on the 5th and 6th.

Rivercrest is in a nice spot.  Close to campus, but not too undergradish.  I'm going to look at apts Saturday so everyone wish me luck!  See y'all in the fall.

Well I'm signing a lease for a duplex at 14th and Daughtrey.  Looked at it Sat. and loved it!!  2/2 $900 a month, close to campus, maybe a little more in the undergrad area than I had planned, but not in the heart of it so not too bad.  What I love is that it's brand new so all the appliances are clean and new plus it's all Spanish tile floors (I hate carpet).  I'll also have a little yard so party at my house! There are 2 sets so 4 total and I think there are 2 left so if anyone's interested let me know and I can pass along the number.

Sounds like a great place. Anything near Bagby is gonna be innundated with undergrads, but it will be better than any of those so called "luxury student aparments." Now if I can just get my butt over to Dallas and start looking for a place...

Yeah, K&S showed us this duplex at 12th and Bagby.  We just laughed and were like, ummmm... thanks but no thanks.  I think it was right across from an old SAE house.  That would have been really cool for studying. 

This place is cool because it doesn't have much around it except for some sort of auto body shop across the street and some new construction of little houses/duplexes behind it.  I think it'll actually be pretty quiet, at least I hope so!!  We definitely steered clear of the "luxury" complexes such as Sterling.

Are you sure it's not the new SAE house?
