Except that I quit my job.  The AF major I was working for tried to give me a 'pep talk' about my bad atitude (probably from surfing on here all day and feeling pretty inconvenienced when he asked me to do anything), and I said, "You know, you're right.  My attitude sucks.  I used to be sooooo much happier before I started working here.  Thank you for helping me see the light."  I walked out of his office and packed up my desk.  He just stood there with his jaw on the floor.  Now I'm a reserve bum picking up tours of duty when I can.  With any luck I'll be starting at the Pentagon in a week or so (for a six week tour).  Pretty cool... but I don't think they'll condone all the web surfing.

A good undergraduate education should provide law school candidates with strong critical techniques in order to sift through Fact, Opinion, Bull, Lies, and any hybridization thereof, in any context of information exchange.   That latter statement is more opinion than fact, but given the threshold of assent, it might be placed under the rubric of fact.

See, I've always been a front-line bum. I didn't realize they kept bums in reserve...there have always been plenty of bums on the front-line in my daily life to where I certainly didn't need to get any from reserves.

Where do they keep the reserve bums? Is it anywhere near the strategic oil reserve? Do they pack a salt dome full of bums to call out when they need 'em? 

"Hey, I heard Zeb got hit by a car while he was panhandling; better call another bum out from the reserves."  Kind of like the minor leagues.

You must be basing this on the assumption that most undergraduate educations in this country actually provide something other than liberal brainwashing.
