Hello Everyone. I posted something similar on TLS and got some great support, but just wanted some more opinions.
Took the LSAT, messed up an LG and got a 165. I am planning on retaking.
I'll have a 3.5x when I apply in Fall, but transcript isn't the greatest. Only soft really is working full time to pay for school. I'm AA female.

Honestly law school numbers is pretty helpful and you can see URM status. If you are an AA female with a 3.5 & a 165 LSAT you will have some pretty good options and you can see that on law school numbers.

You should be fine for GULC.  In fact, I think you have a shot at all of the t14 except maybe Yale.  Apply to all of them.  You'll probably get into CCN down.  Maybe H.

I would be more likely to say N, then MVP on down. Chicago seems to frown on the 3.6 GPA or lower, regardless of LSAT score, as does Columbia. I honestly don't think HYS would be in the picture either (mayyyyyyyybe S if you jump through their picky "show us you really want to be here" hoops) because of the GPA. If you did get in to one of those, I'd say it would be a WL --> accept with a 3.5x/165.

I am planning on applying to law school.
I have a 3.8gpa in Chemistry from Ivy league school.
have not taken actual LSAT. prediction is 165.

I am planning on applying to the top T10 schools
 (i.e. Yale, Harvard, and Stanford)

Just checking in. The old board and members are certainly missed.  I've been in touch with a few, majority of whom have either finished law school or are working as attorneys now. Some have also gotten married and started families.

Thanks to A. and the few remaining old heads who are still around to help answer questions and impart career advice to new comers. It really is appreciated!


PS: I've visited TLS and it certainly is no comparison to LSD. Can't believe that's where folks congregate nowadays.
