kitty, you may want to check out my thread title "is this rediculous or what!".  While the scholarship part may not be so relevant, the admistrative workings of Touro may be of some interest to you.. it seems like something weird is going on there... just some more info for you, THEY DEF. READ YOUR APPLICATION AND ALL ATTACHMENTS.  My acceptance was very personal; the dean commented on some of the aspects he enjoyed the most or was the most impressed with.
Accepted: Suffolk, Albany$, New York Law$, Hofstra$, Touro$
Waitlisted:  Brooklyn, Northeastern, Villanova, American
Denied: Fordham, Temple
ATTENDING: ST JOHNS

Thanks for the info on Touro. It would be a ridiculous commute for me, but if they accept me, I am more than willing to make it. Thanks guys!!

Where is that thread? I know I have seen it somewhere....My PS is the best thing I have to offer, I think. Although I noticed on an addendum I sent them that their was one tiny spelling mistake. Although, they may not even notice.

Sorry to hear of your troubles legalkitty, best of luck.

Touro's future building is really nice (which might make the commute a bit better): http://www.newsday.com/news/local/longisland/ny-lilaw0225,0,3382720.story

Thanks, Drew. I only hope my remaining schools are as kind to me as most of the people on this board have been!!

Jared413- I know, LSAC messed with my GPA a little, too, although I don't know why. I actually have a 3.12, and I didn't withdraw or retake any classes or anything. They just claim I took like, one credit more than my school says I did. In order to fix it, I would have to through each and every semester (averaging about 8-9 classes per semester) and figure out the descrepancy. LSAC was NOT helpful in this issue (shocker). But I figure it doesn't really make that much of a difference. I am around a 3.1 either way. Good luck, I am sure somewhere will work out for both of us!!
