I'd go with "D".  The disproportionate number of smart test takers might not have impacted this poll, which has a very small number of respondents.  I think "D" is too broad.

:)  I do wonder why I put *honestly* in the title, when mostly everyone is answering with their "optimistic", not their realistic expectation.

I'd go with a disproportionately large number of higher scoring people post on LSD. Or we'll all a bunch of liars.

Either one works for me.

Clearly everyone that is not responding E needs to study some more those LR problems!

I think it's a combination of bad sample data representation (not random enough) and maybe a bit of wishful thinking...

You know, I was going to say "E", but the discussion of an incorrect answer (wheels) as a correct answer could definitely impact the expected scores of LSD members.  That is to say, folks could all guess 1 pt higher based on choosing an incorrect response, then recieving validation that it was in fact a correct response.

I still think I got a 168, wheels or no fraggin' wheels.

I think there is going to be a lot of dissappointment on this board. I use three things evade this:

1)Assume I read questions wrong
2)Know that I will still go to law school even if I get as low as 145.
3)Estamate my score as average.

interesting post. Why exactly do you think that there is going to be a lot of dissapointment on this board?

Probably because 75% of the board states that they will score at least in the top 15%, if not the top 1-5%. Then again, I could be be wrong but it seems as if people are setting their hopes up real high or there is a very unusual concentration of talent and if there is, wow. Just wow.

Go look at the LSN profiles of all the people applying in the "where should I go next fall". The vast majority are 165+. Also, most of the people who have posted what they think their scores are, have been practicing in those ranges....

Well, that's very interesting. I wonder why this is so. I mean, how come you only get those who score in the top ten percent on the forums?
