GMU is starting to Ding

It is official, I will be moving from DC (and I am not upset about that prospect
). I guess my waitlist at GMU last year really was a fluke. Oh well. I was still very impressed with the school none the less...nice and helpful admission committee, really respectful students, and the school aint too shabby either
. Texas here I come!

Well, back to Texas it is. Right now with only Catholic pt I would probably choose UH full time, but I guess we will see. I was waitlisted at GMU pt last year and had hoped to sneek in, but it looks even more difficult this year. BTW, did they send you a christmas card too?

Midjeep, you deserve some commendation for taking rejection so well. I'll try to remember you when I get my ding.

I was expecting mine tonight at the mail box but it was not to be. I didn't receive an extended deferral card, either. I only live 18 miles from the school so I can't imagine it would take so long to get to me in the mail. I think I'll call tomorrow. I want no more of this agony.

I went complete on 11/22/04. I received a card stating I wouldn't have a decision until after 2/15/05. The GMU Discussion Board stated those with 2/15 cards should contact admissions if they haven't received further notification by 2/21. Guess I will wait until 2/22 before calling.
Good luck on your applications!

Great, so my card says 3/15. That sucks. What a long time to wait. Blah.

These guys are driving me nuts. GMU was the second app I turned in, went complete on 11/19, and I haven't seen anything other than the email that said my app was complete. Before I applied, I got a fee waiver and about 10 different pieces of email.
