Surprises of the year:

My clinic is not as fun as I thought it'd be.

Evidence is a lot more fun than I thought it'd be.

Law firms want to pay me oodles to do nothing.

Edited.  Not that surprising.

I love property.  My textbook definitely reflects my professor.  The discussion on the problems with joint tenancy included a reference to the following case:

A and B are in an accident.  Witnesses find A's body with no signs of life and B's decapitated body with blood still spurting from the neck.  Who's the survivor?

I never met someone who actually liked that aspect of property.  Wait till you get to recording statutes.  Fun stuff.  ;)

Me too.  One of my top 3 favorite subjects.

Yeah I didn't get what all the fuss was about.  I spoke to 'upperclassmen' and they said it was "tough".  I thought it was pretty straightforward.

property is my favorite as well and i dont see whats so tough either. everyone kept saying adverse possession is hard we did that in like a day whats so hard about it? defeasible fees, future interest and RAP was much more difficult to grasp imo

I hated property.  Ev is rather straightforward.  There is a ton to learn, though.  We're at impeachment of witnesses and such now.  It's fun but too abstract; I can't wait until we really go through it during my winter trial advocacy workshop.

Lemme know when you guys get to recording.  I think you'll change your mind.  I didn't like property at all.
