i kind of expected to get in, so i am kind of p.o.'d

i had reasonable numbers w/ 3 yrs. of medical school and a call from the 2nd largest contributor to GULC (maybe that pissed them off)

don't know if this is a sign of things to come with UPENN (choice #1)

I was defered in December and got my rejection today. I expected to get rejected when I applied, but I hoped that my PS was enough to make it in. I guess it was enough to get deferred, but...

Oh, well. One has to pay for their youthful indescrecions. (Well, not everyone, I guess.)

I wrote a new PS and an additional addendum and mailed them to Harvard and Yale today. I am hoping that 3 more months of researching how the admissions offices work has helped me to make a better attempt.

Amen.  Even when you kind of expect it, it's still pretty disappointing.  No Georgetown for me, either (166/3.54 from a top private).

Come on, Minnesota!!!  Big money, no whammies!

When did you all go to decison? How long did it take btwn your "decision" status and your letter arriving?

I went to decision today and am thinking its likely to be a reject.

I was deferred, so my status said decision since December.

Didn't see this thread before I posted my own!  Definitely a bummer...as my Mom says, "their loss!"  Thanks Mom.  :)

Sorry to hear that Kristen. We went to decision on the same day, so I expect mine today or tomorrow. Definitely their loss.
