they told me NO.  they said the bar code that they use to scan them in (as printed from their website) gets screwed up with faxes - thats why you have to mail it.

If they lost it or the mail lost it you can fax it, but they have to give you a name and number.

Actually, they didn't give me a name, just a number.  It was processed the day after my recommender sent it when I faxed it in.

I requested a name so I could confirm its receipt.  Of course the first time my recommender sent it they didn't get it.
