the blue postcard from American...

I sent American my app on Oct. 31st. They didn't request my LSDAS report until Dec. 10th. And a few weeks ago, when I emailed them to ask if my app was complete, they told me they would be mailing me a blue postcard when it went to committee.
So has anyone gotten this fabled blue postcard? If you have, how long soon after did your decision arrive? How long did they take to send the card to you once they had requested your report?

I haven't heard from American either. They requested my report on Dec 10 and that is the last I heard from them. They have been extremely slow every step of the way.

I got a complete email well after I applied and my report was requested. I never saw a blue postcard.

That is weird. I wonder why they told me that. I haven't gotten an email either. This is rather strange...

I applied early January and I've gotten the yellow postcard...it's the one that says your app. has been RECEIVED. If I remember correctly, I got both the yellow & blue last year when I applied. The blue is when your app. is complete. I did get the acceptance shortly after receiving the blue, so maybe the previous poster is right.
It sounds like AU is not too organized this year. What with people getting accepted and not having gotten any notices, to some getting e-mails and others postcards.
