I'm not saying FloridaLaw is wrong as to the previous poster's intentions, but I will say this--FloridaLaw, you have never said anything  all that great about STU, so it's not surprising that you call out anyone who has something positive to say about the place.  I wonder why everyone is so suspicious of anyone who has something nice to say about schools that are below the first two tiers.  I'm not trying to pick a fight--just an observation.

Wrong obsevation!  I did said that St. Thomas has a very diverse study body and generally, everyone seems nice.  St. Thomas has tons of blacks, Asians and Hispanics.    I think I have also mention that it's save on campus.

I am a fan of some Tier 3 schools including Stetson and UA-Fay.  Although UA-Fay was a top 100 law school in the past couple of years.

I have also encouraged some posters with low numbers to apply to Mississippi College School of Law, a Tier 4.

Just curious Florida Law - have you ever been in any type of proceeding, court room, law firm etc?  Let's make a pact to compare notes this time next year to see who had the more successful first year of law.  A sign of maturity is listening to the facts and making and observation and comment about the facts, not about the person making them.

Not everything about law has to be cut throat - that is why I liked St Thomas - it is beneficial for everyone  to succeed.  I have an extremely hectic life and need a supportive environment.  Obviously you and Laneswerver would not be willing participants in a situation like that.

I can't even respond. I've been blinded by the utter ignorance in this thread. Or it might be the fact taht I've been partying so much I can't read anymore. Now you, Florida, I can see why she's attacking you ( ). All I said was "Funny" and "See my thread for an unbiased account." I can't win for losing. Oh well, back to drinking, smoking, drug use, and any other generalized partying activity.

I did read Lane's review when it was first posted.  It relayed what his impressions were on his "road trip"  When I relayed my impressions, including what I have learned after living in south Florida to help others with the housing situation, I am biased.  Go figure.

I must say that this makes for very interesting reading....
