Hold at Miami

Hold at Miami
« on: February 03, 2005, 02:12:11 PM »
I just got put on hold by Miami until 4/30...3.0 (2.8 LSAC), 153/163 LSAT and 8.5 years of work experience.  It was my #1 choice, so it's a big letdown.

I've already submitted a voluntary addemdum explaining the lsat differential (full cross country track meet went on outside testing site first time around during two sections).  I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.

Indeed my good man, indeed.  People tell me there's still a decent chance, so we'll see.

Even better, my apologies.  It must have been the Braves logo that threw me off.

So are you going to call them?  What else are you going to submit?

Well I spoke to the admissions department. They said that they had received many more applicants this year than last, and they were waiting to see who decides to attend. They also mentioned that the placed on hold category is not a "bad thing." I wish they would speed up the process a little bit since I have deadlines looming to accept my admission to a few other schools.
