Georgetown went to "Decision" today

Although I’m hopeful, realistically I'm nearly certain a ding is on the way. How long does it take to hear from Georgetown once your status changes from complete to "Decision".

I guess I luck out in that Georgetown takes the higher LSAT, what do you guys think my chances are of this being a non-rejection?

I got my letter a few days after going to decision (in California).

Looking at that G-town takes the higher score, you have a shot, by no means an auto-ding.

Let me give you a tip.  Log on to the admitted students site 4 days after your status changed to Decision.  If you can log on, then you're in.  If you can't then it simply means that you MIGHT not have gotten in.   It's the same user name and password that you use to check your application status.  Several people found out they were in last year before receiving their letters by using this method.  Sometimes it works before the 4 day period, some people were able to log-in as early as the following day.  Yet, some people indicatd that it took more than 4 days.  Try it out.

it took mine 3 days from the decision date to get from DC to NYC.   Good luck!

I also went from 'Complete' to 'Decision' today.  I noticed on LSN that alot of people who applied later than I did (applied mid December) are already accepted or waitlisted.  I have low numbers for Georgetown, but I was hoping that my other factors would make up for my GPA.  Good Luck to you.
