Thanks, I knew I was in trouble when I blew the LSAT but by then, I had already invested too much  not to give it a shot.  I can always retake and try again, although right now I think I'd rather poke myself in the eye.  I might feel differently in a few months!  Best of luck to you!

I got the big rejection letter yesterday from "smooo" as well,m so I feel your pain......

...its all good though  ;)

Ouch, sorry y'all, I know how it feels getting rejected at SMU. But retake that LSAT and reapply next year if you want to really go (why do I feel like one of those doctors on those hair loss commercials)  ::)

Thanks, that is definitely what I need to do. I am actually ok with the decision, I think my family and friends are more upset than I am.  Of course, they have unrealistic expectations of what it takes to get accepted...

Now that I'm a LS reject, do I have to leave LSD???  Nooo, I won't go....

Very sorry to hear the news. But no, you don't have to go. You will just be the senior person on the board for next year's future 1Ls. You will be able to answer a lot of the questions these new guys will have. Your exper. will be an asset to LSD.

But I know it still sucks. It's not to late to apply other places, unless you are stuck on Dallas.

Unfortunately, I am stuck in Dallas due to my career.  I'm fortunate to have a great job so its not the end of the world, just something I wanted to do to provide more long term security for myself.  I will keep lurking and following the progress of everyone else.  I can live the dream thru you guys!   :)

EDIT:  I still want to be invited to that Metroplex happy hour!
