My best friend's brother goes there; what type of information are you looking for? The website and brochure would be helpful for general questions...

how could your first choice be Marquette over GW. Also, your apply to a school ranked 20th and a school that is one of the worst in the country? I dont see the logic unless youre looking for a mad scholarship.

Well they definitely give out a load of scholarship $$. They are a relatively new school and I beleive that give full tuition scholarships to anyone who scores above a 160 on the LSAT...they are looking to rise in the rankings, but for now they are basically in last place. If your looking to live in SD, USD is a better bet.

I am mainly going for the program (Sports Law), Marquette  and then Tulane, The others I have just gotten their brochures in the mail and just looking at them for the moment.  Which one is the worst in the country? Please tell me its not Marquette- I heard that some people dont like it at all.

Thomas jefferson is the one that is close to the worst school in the country. You do have a wide range of schools listed, which I guess makes sense if you are just starting and limited to law school mailngs. Do start to look into other schools, the sooner the better. And be careful in focusing in on a school mainly for a particular program.

Marquette does have a great sports law program, but remember, its still a regional school. Therefore, it may be tough to find a sports law job outside of Wisconsin. Also, like the last post said, be cautious of going to a school soley because of their specialty programs. I was in that mind set for a while too. What you should do is try to go to the best school possible. GW would open a lot more doors then Marquette. However, sometimes the classes at one school look a lot more appealing and enjoyable, so it can be a tough call.

Extremely hard, maybe top 5 (not percent) in your class. Probably not impossible, but maybe to someplace like Loyola would be a better goal.
