Stanford Ding ON MY BIRTHDAY!

Talk about pouring salt in a wound. This completely sucks. I knew for sure that the ding was coming, but on my birthday- man that was horrible.
Letter dated 1/27. Stats to the left.
Ouch Stanford, ouch.

4750 dings / year * 1/365 chance of it being ding recipient's birthday ~ 13 Stanford Birthday Ding's per year.

as far as odds of that happening, 1/365, though you could refine that knowing whether your birthday falls in the admissions season and depending on when you apply.
