Canadian Law Schools, Rankings

I was just wondering as a Canadian looking into a legal education, if anyone knew how Canadian Law Schools compare to eachother.  I haven't been able to find any rankings. Thanks

Well other than I was told by someone else on this board (Canadian student) that the best school to go graduate law school was UT (not to aware whether this is in US or Canada). Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you though.

I don't know that much on this topic, but a few months ago, I was considering a move to Canada and checked out Canadian law schools. My general impression was that UToronto, McGill, and UBC would rank as very respectable choices. I don't think I ever came across any formal ranking system though.

Being Canadian myself, I've always heard University of Toronto, McGill, and UVic as the really respectable choices (particularly UT).  However, I also don't think it matters as much in Canada -- almost wherever you go you should get a decent law school education, so I'd say pick the school based on the location you'd most like to live in.  I'm a big fan of British Columbia (gorrrrrgeous!), DEFINITELY not a fan of Saskatchewan (stay away from U of S!), and Ontario/Quebec is pretty fun too.  Hope that helps

In BC, from what I have heard, UBC and UVic are about equal. I don't know much about the schools out east (here defined as anything east of Vancouver), but I do know that UT is widely regarded as the best school in Canada.

U Tornonto is supposedly the canadian Harvard.  Go to the LSAC official guide and check their test score averages I guess.
