How to remove a topic from my watch list?

Is there anyway to remove a thread from my watch list, so that it no longer appears on the "unread replies to your posts" page when someone adds a new post to it?

I looked everywhere...

Oh @#!*!  Now I have this thread in my "watch" list.

the only way is to delete your posts from the thread (I don't know if it actually works, but that's the advice i heard from someone else).

if your posts were substantive to the thread, please don't delete them.  you can, of course, but for the sake of people who will come and read them later for info, it'd be great if everything stayed intact.  most threads die after a couple days anyway.

For awhile, I wanted to delete my posts from the one-word thread...then I realized it would take too long to find all the posts in it.
