Tulane, Indiana (Bloomington), Pitt or Hofstra?
« on: January 26, 2005, 03:19:22 PM »
I just got into Indiana (8k a year) Tulane and Hofstra (full ride) and will probably get into Pitt. Where is the best place to go in terms of location atmoshpere and academics? I heard New Orleans is a good party city and I've been to Pittsburgh and its very nice. Any thoughts on Hofstra or Indiana?

dont consider hofstra for any reason other than the money... also, keep in mind, a hofstra degree is not really recognized off of the island (even tough in NYC if your not in the top of your class), so unless you plan on living and practicing in the metropolitan area of NY you should consider the other schools a bit more..

I lived in New Orleans for a couple of years and loved it.  I would at least make a visit, its just one of those places that some people love and some people hate. It would be very hard to turn down a full ride...
