Got the letter today... Oh well, luckily I've got in at some other places I'd rather go, so it's no big deal.  I guess it's goodbye SF for me!

i got the letter on saturday. meh...Hastings wasnt too appealing to me anyways. close to home though. still waiting on USF though.

Thanks for the condolences, but no problem really.  It was sort of just an impulse application - one day I thought to myself "hey, might be cool to go to school in San Francisco", which I think happened because I'd watched a couple episodes of Full House and also because there was bad weather here in Austin that day.  The weather in SF, by contrast, looked pretty great on Full House.  I just shot my basic application over to them and didn't give it much thought aftetr that.  Really, the fact that I made such little effort to personalize it for them could likely have been a factor in my getting rejected...
