I visited Villanova and suggest you do the same. The law building is very old, but also very charming. The school is in a very nice area, unlike other Philly area schools like Temple and Rutgers-Camden. I was very impressed with the admissions staff (friendly, disarming). I would only go there if accepted and offered a full-ride, though, since I've been offered one at Widener.

Congrats! Its a very solid school. A friend of mine goes there and I grew up in a neighboring town. You'll really like the area. Its a bit residential but its only minutes from the city. Best of both worlds.

congrats! I work right down the road from VU and its a nice campus. Don't know anything about the law school building per se but its in a good (although expensive) part of suburban philly and is a 20 minute drive to downtown.
how did the acceptance come? when did you apply/were you complete?

I'm in too, 3.91/165 - bad omen for them, however. The letter was sent to a hybrid of my current address and my permanent address, and made it to my permanent address somehow.

Also in at Villanova- 3.35/163, applied in late November, last LOR requested 1/7 so the turnaround time was pretty quick.
Sent to permanent address.
Congrats to everyone else!

For those of you whose decision was sent to your permanent address, did you indicate that your current address should be used until a certain date that has already passed? Or did Villanova just decide to send it to your permanent address?
I'm asking because I assumed my decision would come to my current address and I'd really rather it not show up at my parent's home (permanent address) where I'd have to travel to get it or have them open it over the phone.
