Schools with Nasty Reputations.

So, I'm currently reading Law School Confidential and I've just gotten to the part in which he mentions that there are schools that have notoriously bad atmospheres and are home to all the book-hiding nonsense that everybody always hears about.

Anyway, while I'm sure much of this is blown out of proportion... does anybody know of any schools that are supposed to be pretty cut throat?  I figured we could compile a list of them here, with anecdotes and whatnot.

EDIT: And yes...I KNOW there are some similar threads... but they all seemed to consist of "My cousin's dad's brother dated this chick who once drove by Hastings on a Friday and..." sorts of stuff.  I'm looking for specific examples.

Some gunner last sem hid a bunch of west reporters our section needed for the legal writing project. I guess he's never heard of westlaw.

I can't give specifics, but as someone from the SF area, I can tell you that Hasting's reputation in this regard is true.
