Case Western vs. Pitt

Beside from the obvious slight ranking difference, anyone have a preference, and why?  Thanks in advance.

I'd prefer Pitt, it's cheaper especially if you're a PA resident, Pittsburgh is a far superior city to Cleveland, IMHO especially in quality of life and potential job prospects.

Pitt b/c of their international law.  Cleveland rocks and is one of the better cities out there, but when it comes down to it the law program is what counts.

The 'burgh is a great city.

good food, my limited experience with cleveland puts Pitt on top!

Cleveland has Great Lakes Brewery and is cheap as hell.  Never been to Pittsburgh so I cannot comment on it.

Cleveland is a better city, to me (I've lived in both). In terms of law schools...I'm not sure. I think they're probably on-par with each other, but certain programs may be stronger than others for each school.

I will go with the generic answer:

If you want to work in Cleveland, go to Case Western.  If you want to work in Pittsburgh, go to Pitt.

How about if you want to go to Case Western and want to work in Pittsburgh?  Do you think I'd have a shot?

You always have a shot.  You'll just have to work a little harder to find that job than if you went to Pitt.

The NALP directory says a few Pittsburgh firms do OCIs at Case.  A quick Martindale search shows there are 53 Case grads working in Pittsburgh.
