i agree with the sentiment of this board. i'm new to this message board...man, this is absurd. Racists? I've run into racists at Berkeley, and some of the most welcoming folks in  Greenville, South Carolina. there are racists in this world, but most of the time, what a lot of minorities percieve to be racism is simply ignorance! (especially in the realm that is law schools).

So, the short of it is--yes, its more difficult to be conservative at a place like Berkeley or Austin, and probably more difficult to be liberal @ Texas Tech in Lubbock. But it's difficult like...if i were to move to Germany, I might have a difficult time. Different people at different schools...makes the world go round, doesn't it?

I sense that the OP wanted to get some fiery controversy started here...
