I got my renewable 10k letter today.  Very happy with it! (http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com/display.php?cycle=0405&user=candide)

Anymore offers of money?  I was accepted by email 1/19 and haven't heard anything.

I asked the lady who called me to tell me that I was accepted. She said that most people who get offered money receive sokething in the mail within a couple of weeks after they get accepted. HTH

The admitted students discussion board had some Dean post that you hear in about a month which is why I am concerned.  I emailed them this morning and asked.  I have similar numbers to people who got 10K a year.  I hope they give me something.

When were you (enitsirk77) actually accepted (who got letter dated 1/25)?

Well then I guess this kind lady didn't know what she was talking about... even though knowing such things is probably why she gets paid. Maybe it was a student or something. Oh well, good to know that it can take up to a month though because that means I still might have some hope!

I'm pretty sure I posted this somewhere else, but I'll post again just in case.

I was admitted to GW on 12/21 via email (received letter dated 12/29).  Received scholarship offer dated 1/18 for $20k/year (Presidential Merit Scholar).  There was even a hand-written note on the letter from the interim dean that specifically referred to my personal statement.  Very classy.

Good luck to all who are still waiting to hear.

3.76, 177.  Fairly normal ECs and internships, pretty good personal statement, probably slightly worse than average letters of rec.

Why do you think your LORs weren't great?  Did you have a chance to read them at all?
