In at Samford
« on: January 18, 2005, 06:39:30 PM »
I just called my wife from Honduras and she gave me the good news. I wish I could have gotten it in person but at least I know I'm going to law school!! ;D

Hopefully Texas Tech will show some love soon.

Note to others, Samford must like military, because my numbers aren't great.

Congrats, dustoffdax!

I'm from Birmingham and know that Samford places well in the area.

Good luck with Texas Tech!

As folks have said before, the first one lifts a huge weight.

Samford must not like military too much. I've got 5 years prior service as an Active Duty Marine, and all it got me at Samford was a nice "file on hold" letter. But you probably had better numbers than me. A 152 LSAT average and a 3.11 GPA doesn't really get you too far no matter what your extras are. But congrats on your acceptance!

Thanks WRMUSGRO,
I served with the Marines in the desert and respect ya'll a lot. At least you are in somewhere and will be a lawyer in three years!

I didn't get any info about $$, but your numbers are better than mine so you should hear something before I do.
