University at Buffalo

I got the letter today. Any thoughts on Buffalo anyone? I only applied there b/c of getting a fee waiver but it seems like it might be an option for me.

No scholarship though. But the in-state residency after 1 year is pretty appealing. Even at out-of-state it is way cheaper than most of the other schools I applied to.

CONGRATS! Glad to hear that UB is starting to send out acceptance letters. I was curious when your applications was completed? Hopefully I can get some sort of idea how long it takes to review an application and send out the decision. (I emailed them a week ago and haven't  heard anything....)

Also if you don't mind my asking, what were your stats?

Again, congrats!

I just got in!  I was starting to think that I was only going to go 1/10 on acceptances after a couple of waitlists happened.  Now I'm in at Buffalo!  I've never been to the city before and I know it's damn cold, but I feel pretty great about the news!

For all of you Buffsters, congrats!

If you would like more info just search for Wombat, Othius or Buffalo. We've discussed a lot about Buffalo.
The short: It's a solid school in a solid town.

It has it's pros and cons like anywhere else. None of the cons really have to do with the law school itself.

That's the impression I'm under.  Who knows, maybe I'll end up there one day.  All wait-and-see at this point.
