Thanks! It was my reach school, and also my dream to go back to michigan since my family all live in south eastern michigan as well (Not detroit!).  I just wanted to post my stats for those still waiting, it takes awhile b/c Michigan tries to do a 'whole person' analysis, and supposedly does not use index numbers. I sent my app in september and didn't get my acceptance until january.

Not URM for anyone wondering.
good luck all!

Michigan is also my reach/dream school.. my LSAT is the same as yours, but my GPA is a lot lower (3.05), albeit from an undergrad that Michigan supposedly loves.  I wound up writing two optional essays, plus I sent in 3 LOR, so we will see.  I personally am in favor of the "whole person" evaluation, however, I will stop now lest I speak too favorably of Michigan.  It's too early for that...  :D

Thanks for posting.  I like reading stories like yours!

Thanks Evol. That's awesome, good work ^^

I really would like to get accepted at Michigan too.

I think I'm getting even more obsessed after reading all the good postings about Michigan in LSD  8)

I really like their urban planning clinic...

And their Japanese programs are just too cool!!  ;D
