When did you put your application in, and when did you hear back from them? And how did you find out you were accepted?

If it makes you feel any better, I was dinged today, and my numbers made Pitt seem like a strong target.  Go figure.

Wow, I had a 3.4, 158 and I got in.

Where did you go UG?  What did you study?

My feeling is that I just didn't present a solid case for going to Pitt, which is true.  Pitt was just a random choice that I thought would be rather safe.  Bad roll of the dice I suppose.

My major was international business, with a focus on econ and finance.

You could be right about not making a case to go to Pitt.  I visited the school and met with the director of admissions.

Good luck on your other apps.  You have great scores.  I'm sure you'll get plenty of acceptances.

app sent: first week of january (snail mail)
report requested: 1/12
report sent: 1/13
phone call acceptance: 1/21
snail mail acceptance: 1/23 (dated 1/21)
