What will you be bringing to one hell ?

What will you be bringing to one hell ?

I presume many of you would be packing up and heading off soon to one hell. What would be that treasured belonging you'll be dragging off with you in hopes that it will aid in your survival of the whole ordeal? Share with all what's in your inventory, and maybe we could all learn off each other and probably make wiser consumer choices when purchasing for one hell.

I'll start this off:

1) The ultra small laptop. I'm a bum, and I mean it, just standing up and getting off my ass is a small feat for me. Hence my super small sony T17GPS http://vaio-online.sony.com/sg/vaio/? it's not the fastest but definitely one of the smallest.

2) The ultimate reference suite - http://www.franklin.com/estore/details.aspx?ID=SCG-1870 .. In my view, a clear definition is essential to an accurate interpretation of the law, hence, making this crucial for me.

3) That stupidly expensive yet incredibly essential filofax. I hate PDAS, data migration and warehousing is just so hard !

Well that's all I see myself carrying in my bag other than readings for the day.

1.  Definitely a laptop, probably a Sony, the best I can get for $2K.

2.  One large, blue teddy bear.  For inevitable tears and beating up on when I do badly on an exam.  Doubles as a pillow for my study carrel.

3.  I intend to buy commercial outlines taylored to my textbooks.

4.  A few new pairs of pajamas to wear to class.

1. A sh*tload of Tylenol and Tylenol cold because I get sick when I don't sleep, and I don't think I will be sleeping much in the next year. 2. Five pairs of juicy sweatpants, one for each day of the week when I roll out of bed and am too lazy to put on clothes without elasticized drawstring waistbands. 3. My Apple Powerbook and an external floppy drive that plugs into my USB port for taking exams, because I refuse to stop using an Apple in law school 4. Commercial outlines for my textbooks, like emanuels. 5. My planner that is the size of a small child... I can't stand or use PDA planners either Draino, and if I don't write something down, I instantly forget it. 6. Those smushy hear-o earplugs. I used them studying for my LSATs to drown out my roommates when they loudly watched porn or played X-Box, I figure they will come in handy down the line.

tha could be a complete waste of $150. you MUST have one reference, and only one reference: Black's Law Dictionary (pocket verion, not the enormous one). that electronic thing isn't going to have legal definitions in it that you need, because it's not specific to law. IF you can add the Black's to it (it says it's expandable), you'll be fine, but otherwise, it's basically a paperweight in terms of usefulness in law school.

Laptop with wireless, voice recorder, books and some Tylenol.

The walk from the train better be light goddamnit!  A requirement for whatever school I end up at is that I can shove all of my non-essential books into a locker until I have to lug them home and back.

I agree, Black's Law Dictionary is a TTT book. Worthless.
